Pathways to Teaching & Creative Careers in Education, hosted by California Institute of the Arts

More than 75% of art and design graduates end up teaching, in some setting, at some point in their career. Panelists will share their experience and expertise that covers five major pathways into teaching and education in the arts, including but not limited to, teaching at the collegiate level in community colleges and universities. museum education, teaching in community arts settings and nonprofit organizations, entrepreneurial education – private lessons – artist as freelance educator, entering a traditional K-12 education setting – and what credentials are needed.
